JOB DESCRIPTION
The Family Support Branch of Volunteer Miramichi is looking for a Family Support Worker. A normal work week for this position is 37.5 hours/wk, 5 days a week including evenings and weekends. We try to accommodate staff where possible for flexibility, however all staff are expected to take on clients that may involve regular evening and weekend work. All applicants MUST have a diploma in one of the following: Human Services, Early Childhood, Child and Youth Care Worker or Equivalent/better. Must possess an updated CPIC, Active CPR/First Aid, Driver's license and insurance. Billingualism, NVCI and experience would all be assets. Wages begin at $16.10/hr with medical/dental, life insurance and leave time.
