Project 1
INCOME TAX SUPPORT
Each year we work with seniors and other individuals who have challenges in completing their Federal Income Tax. Partnering with Business Students from NBCC and community volunteers, we assist these individuals to fill in and submit their income tax forms. If you would like to assist in this process, we would love to hear from you. Or if you know of someone who has challenges in completing their tax forms, you can contact our office with their name. All information is confidential.
Project 2
Not-For-Profit database
A complete database of other NFPs in the city and district. If your NFP is not in our database, we encourage you to contact our office to be included.
Project 3
Volunteer Match Platform
Our portal is a way of assisting both the volunteer and the agencies that utilize volunteers to survive. At no time will your information be given to the agency unless you decide to do so yourself.
How does it work?
When we are given a volunteer opportunity we email it to the entire portal list. If the opportunity is something that interests you, then reply telling us so. If you decide to skip the volunteer opportunity, then do so, no reply necessary!!! It’s as simple as that!!!
After each volunteer activity you participate in Volunteer Miramichi will provide you with a certificate of your attendance hours and skills you used. This is great for a portfolio, especially for students.
